Headspace has come along at a time in which digital health and well-being is a hot topic in the tech industry.
A number of reviews state Headspace has helped them get through some difficult times in their lives. That success is partially due to its simplicity. Ease of use and engaging content make you want to use and commit to the app.
High response rates and engaging content make for the kind of experience you actually want to come back to
Headspace is not without downfalls. It is a pay-for app and has received a few bad reviews. However, the creators are quick to respond.
Overall, Simon describes Headspace as an app that provides content for everyone from beginner to the experienced in meditation. The only potential issue is the cost. With a 14 day free trial you can afford to determine that for yourself.
My New Year Resolution
Simon’s article shows Headspace to be a great option for those who can use a useful fee-based app. I am not in the position to pay a monthly fee but it has reminded me I need to take care of my health due to excessive digital use. I have made a promise to myself that, whether it be through Headspace or other avenues, to learn meditation.
Take the time to review your choices and make a mindful choice to work towards better mental health. Make it YOUR New Year resolution!
